The Vernon Parish Courthouse, including the Vernon Parish Clerk’s Office will be closed Wednesday, September 11, 2024 due to hazardous conditions.

Pursuant to R.S. 1:55 and Proclamation numbers 196 JBE 2023 and 197 JBE 2023: The Vernon Parish Courthouse, including the Vernon Parish Clerk’s Office will be closed Tuesday, December 26, 2023 and Tuesday, January 2, 2024 in observance of the Christmas and New Year Holiday.

Pursuant to the Proclamation signed by Governor Edwards on June 2, 2023: The Vernon Parish Clerk of Court will be closed on Monday, July 3, 2023 and Tuesday, July 4, 2023 in observance of Independence Day.
